This would be 76823, the “Hawaii Mars.” It, of course, is still in service today as a fire bomber with Coulson Flying Tankers in British Columbia. (Seen it flying past a time or two.) The logbook is from a JRM crewman who flew in this very aircraft in the 40’s – 15.1 hours Alameda-Honolulu.
