Update: Thanks to a sharp-eyed viewer, the event is the 1923 Pulitzer Air Races in St. Louis, Missouri. According to the newspapers, over 100,000 people attended the show. Hat tip to “Griz” for the information.

I’ll bet this is the 1923 Pulitzer Air Race in St. Louis, Missouri. The airfield is off to the left and the Victor Trucks (a STL company) painted on the barn is another clue.
